Kathy Griffin Created a Tasty New Treat after Combining Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares and Pillsbury Grands

Comedian Kathy GriffinRecently, it was on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss her upcoming role in season five of HBO’s Search Party. Though Griffin hasn’t fully recovered from past scandals, during the interview she mentioned that she is being slowly uncanceled, and her fans couldn’t be happier. Griffin is making waves as we wait eagerly for her comedic return. But not in the way that you might expect. Instead, she is creating some tasty Insta-worthy snacks that are catching everyone’s attention.

Griffin made a decadent dessert with only two ingredients. In her Instagram post, Griffin hilariously confesses, “I. I… I’m not proud, OK?” The comedian proved that not every recipe has to be elaborate by conjuring up a decadent chocolate pastry in her frenzy for sweets.

“Last night I made a can of Pillsbury Grands and put Ghirardelli‘s milk chocolate caramel squares in the middle,”She explained.

She also tried peanut butter-smothered canned biscuits as part of her quest to find more flavor combinations. Griffin even tried Pillsbury Grands, smothered in butter, while she baked. Griffin admitted that while the creations were amazing, she was a bit too indulgent. She wrote, “I am an impulsive person and confessing to a hell of a stomach ache.”

It can be difficult to resist a dessert so simple to make. Griffin’s fans agreed, calling the chocolatey biscuits, “genius.”One user even commented. “time for you to enter the @pillsbury bake-off!”

How To Make Kathy Griffin’s Two-Ingredient Chocolate Caramel Filled Biscuits

These chocolate croissant dupes are made with Ghirardelli Milk, Caramel Filled Squares and can be mixed up. You can also substitute Ghirardelli squares with chocolate chips or Nutella spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (13 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layers Original Biscuits
  • Ghirardelli Milk and Caramel Filled squares 1 bag

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Use cooking spray to grease a large cookie sheet.
  2. Divide the dough into eight cookies. Use your fingers to gently separate each biscuit into 2 layers. Place a small square of chocolate into the center of each biscuit. To seal, press edges together.
  3. Bake the biscuits for 14-16 minutes, or until they are golden brown around their edges.
