Kate McKinnon signs with the CAA

EXCLUSIVE: She is currently charting her post-graduation plans.Saturday Night LiveKate McKinnon has made a career change in her representation. The Emmy winner has moved over to CAA. CAA will be her representative in all areas other than touring. McKinnon was at UTA for the last eight years having been there with her agent Fred Hashagen from Paradigm.

McKinnon in May wrapped an 11-season run on NBC’s Saturday Night LiveThe show earned her two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress In a Comedy Series. There were a total 10 nominations, nine in the supporting comedy category. Colleen Rafferty was one of the memorable characters. Olya Pvlatsky and Sheila Sovage were also among her notable characters.

She recently played Carole Baskin, a limited series of the Peacock. Joe vs. CaroleVoiced a character in DC League of Super-Pets. Her feature credits also include Jay Roach’s Bombshell, alongside Robbie; Paul Feig’s 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters and Danny Boyle’s Yesterday. She will next be seen opposite Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.

McKinnon remains under the management of Brian Steinberg at Artists First. He is also represented by Melissa Fox at Hansen Jacobson Teller.
