Before the release of “Jackass Forever”Johnny Knoxville spoke out about his injuries while filming the final installment of the franchise’s films in February. In an interview on “The Howard Stern Show,”Knoxville disclosed that he sustained brain damage when he attempted a bull stunt while filming. Knoxville suffered concussions from 2018 before. “Action Point,”per Entertainment WeeklyHowever, this injury was even more concerning. The bull struck him in the head at an outdoor ring. He also suffered broken arms and ribs.

“I got a brain hemorrhage from that, so my cognitive abilities were in steep decline after that hit,”Stern laughed, and he added that the injury was. “a tough one to come back from.”Knoxville stated that his cognitive impairments were characterized by a very short attention span. This meant that he was unable to recall many things. Knoxville was forced to undergo several treatments in order to regain his memory skills after the accident.

His attention declined, and he also developed depression from the brain injury. “My brain was just playing tricks on me. I got really depressed and over-focused on things,”He said that he had started taking antidepressants. “for the first time in his life.”Knoxville’s doctors warned him about the consequences of his actions, and he agreed to stop doing them. “I don’t have anything to prove,”He stated.
