Jamie Campbell Bower’s peeing crisis while playing Vecna in Stranger Things

Jamie Campbell Bower joked about how Stranger Things was a bittersweet experience because of the problems his Vecna costume caused.

Jamie was a standout in Stranger Things Season 4, along with Joseph Quinn and Sadie Sink. His excellent performance made Vecna an irreplaceable villain in the series, but stepping into the costume wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows.

The rising star mentioned recently his difficulties using the Vecna suit’s bathroom, which made us laugh and feel sorry.

It is not easy to play a role as a villain

Jamie appeared earlier in the month as a guest on SiriusXMHe cleared up all our doubts about Vecna. He also admitted that the most awkward part of playing Vecna was having to go to the toilet.

Jamie described his suit in detail. Jamie has a pair of slacks in the top half. “big hands and huge fingers”With “nails that are glued on”He is the definition of he “can’t touch anything”Without his costume “falling apart”.

And on the bottom half, there’s a “flap that goes from the chest underneath my butt crack”.

Jamie needed to use his big claws whenever he peed. “hover over the urinal”His stylist stood outside the bathroom waiting for him to call. He said he still can recall the shame.

When asked about how much time he spent in the suit, Jamie replied it took between seven and seven-and-a-half hours for him to fully get into his costume and make up, and that they’d then film for around 10 hours a day.

The 33-year old has a musical side to his acting. Counterfeit’s main vocalist was also their guitarist. The band released their debut album and went on a US tour in 2017. Counterfeit was disbanded in 2020.
