James Franco will try to make an acting return after he has been cast in a new movie. “Me, You,”According to The Hollywood Reporter. Directed by Bille August, the movie is a post-WWII drama with production set to begin in September — Franco will play one of its lead roles. Franco will be joined on the project by Daisy Jacob, Tom Hollander, and Daisy Jacob. Franco has not been on screen in a while. His last role was as in “Arctic Dogs”According to IMDbFranco is currently working on multiple projects. Franco will also be starring in “Mace,”Jon Amiel directs the action thriller.

Via PeopleFranco expressed his excitement at returning to acting. “Me, You,” saying, “I am excited to board this phenomenal project and to be working with the legendary Bille August,”He said, “I’m a huge fan of his work, and “Me and You” is a truly brilliant script.”

Franco’s first major role in acting, after being accused of sexual misconduct by former students. Although Franco denied some of these claims, he did agree to pay over $2.2 million to Toni Gaal and Sarah Tither-Kaplan who were his former students.
