Shriver filed for divorce after learning that Schwarzenegger was having an affair in 1996 with Midred Baena, his housekeeper. Joseph Baena was born from the result of this affair.
Shriver believed Schwarzenegger was the father of Baena’s child. He confronted Shriver in therapy, where he confessed to the affair.
Is the divorce final?
The divorce has not been finalized. According to the Daily Mail, the divorce is close to being settled as of June 2021.
