Innovate Solutions recalls 98,000 Pounds of Raw Chicken after reports of Bone Pieces

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS)Recently, it was announced that almost 98,000 pounds of raw chicken patty products were being recalled. Their website states that nearly 98,000 pounds of raw ground chicken patty products have been recalled. The Chicken Was Sold At Trader Joe’s

Innovate Solutions, Inc.After being made aware of possible contamination, the voluntary recall was initiated. These products were manufactured between August 16th and September 29th. There have been no adverse reactions or illnesses reported to date from the consumption of these chicken patties.

USDA says that the recalled chicken was shipped to retail locations across the United States, including Trader Joe’s. It’s possible that customers still have some of these chicken patties in their freezer, and that concerns the Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The recalled raw ground chicken patty products can be identified by their establishment number — EST. P-8276, located close to the USDA inspection marks. The following items have been recalled:

  • Trader Joe’s Chile Lime Chicken Burgers: 1-pound cardboard packages with four pieces
    • Lot codes 2281 and 2291, 2351,2361. 2371, 2441. 2521. 2531. 2561. 2561. 2561. 2591. 2591. 2601. 2671. 2721 (located in the label)
  • Spinach Feta Chicken Sliders: 9-pound bulk packs with 72 pieces
    • Lot codes 2361 and 2631 (located in the label)

What if The Recalled Chicken Was In Your Freezer Now?

FSIS warns against eating recalled chicken products if you find them in your freezer. The FSIS recommends that you dispose of the recalled items. You can also return the products to the original place of purchase for a full refund.
