SIX-STAR “ultra-luxury” cruise ship worth £180million has sailed into British waters for the first time ever.
Scenic Eclipse can hold 228 passengers and has moored at Fowey, Cornish harbour, during its maiden voyage to Britain.
Company Scenic Group has the 551ft craft. The first launch was in 2018 and it was built in Croatia.
It was however in service for only a few months before it was anchored during the pandemic.
At the start of this year, sailing trips on the world’s most expensive cruiser were resumed.
Today, the vessel made a stop in South West as it traveled to Bergen in Norway.
Cornwall’s weather is more sunny than what guests might expect when they visit the Arctic.
This morning, 228 passengers boarded with blue skies and shining sunshine.
Cruise passengers enjoy the most luxurious extras a holiday can offer.
Each suite boasts its very own veranda and lounge area.
A button is installed on the balcony to transform it into an all-weather conservatory.
Each guest will be assigned a butler.
Two Eurocopter helicopters are also aboard the ship, making it even more exotic.
For an extra fee, visitors heading to the Med can fly over Mount Etna, while those on a southern voyage – which costs from £16,200 – could see Antarctica from the air.
Scenic Neptune is a seven-person crewed submersible that can dive to depths as high as 300 metres.
For those who enjoy staying fit, you can use the gym, spa, yoga studio or one of our two swimming pools.
For those who prefer to eat and drink around the globe, there are nine restaurants and eight bars.
The library, excursion centre, and theatre are all available.
Owners describe holidays aboard as “true all-inclusive”.
