Moore also recommended incorporating artwork and tasteful décor pieces into your home.

She said: “The more you can show an interest in art and culture, the better.”

Candace Toscano, interior designer, suggested that you replace the lampshades of any table or floor lamp if there is no overhead lighting.

He also shared tips and tricks for staging homes to make them appear more expensive.

“Fabric like velvet, silk, and linen give a more sophisticated look than basic cotton curtains,”Toscano spoke out about Apartment Therapy.
