I’m a Celeb stars in for fright as ‘upset’ Gwrych Castle ghosts don’t want show return

I’m a Celebrity is set to turn into a scream-fest as angry ghosts that roam the Welsh castle don’t want Ant and Dec’s telly circus to return.

The cast and crew are being forced to stage the “jungle” show at Gwrych Castle in Abergele once more as Covid restrictions mean they cannot go to Australia.

Whilst viewers are thrilled for the castle comeback after the successful first year in 2020, it seems the current residents of the castle are not as happy about the news.

A ghost hunter claims the gang have upset the spirits that lurk in the ruins by taking up residence there.

Seance Paul Rowland of Paradox Paranormal said: “A group recently held a séance within the castle.

“The result caused them to leave soon after, vowing never to return.

“A tall dark figure with undefined features had appeared.

“It might have been the Countess, who is believed to have become much more active since the recent renovations began.

“We could be in for fun and games with those from the spirit world with all the extra activity from celebrities and crew.”

The spectres at the castle are said to include a scary floating lady called Countess Winifred who used to own the pad, a weeping servant girl, hundreds of Jewish refugee children and even a horse.

They apparently do not like the upheaval caused by filming in their “home”.

Former jungle queen Kerry Katona took part in a ghost hunt at the castle this year and says she got spooked and fled when a voice told her to “get out”.
