A WOMAN got support online after she shared how she refused move seats for a mother who wanted to have a place for her baby.
Michelle, the woman who was traveling with Michelle, was going to Las Vegas for her honeymoon. Michelle’s mother then asked Michelle if she would be willing to relocate.

The parent didn’t book an extra seat for their child. He was still young enough to sit on her lap during the trip, but she wanted to be in a position to take him to sleep.
Michelle was asked if she could provide a second seat for her to use to make it possible for her to take her son to Los Angeles on the five-hour trip.
Michelle tried searching for a seat but there was none available so she decided to give up.
Despite Michelle’s mother’s anger, the flight attendants supported Michelle and created an awkward atmosphere that lasted the whole journey.

“You don’t usually have to pay for a baby seat when they are young. They can sit on their parents’ laps, but she wanted her child to be able to use my seat so that she wouldn’t have the burden of carrying him around for five hours.
“I hesitated, because I was sitting next to my husband and didn’t want him to get up. However, I also felt guilty because her baby was fussy.
“The flight was ready for takeoff. I got up to see one remaining seat in the back row.
“There was a gentleman sitting back there. I approached him and asked if he could let me sit in the spare chair. But he said that he had reserved two tickets for himself so that no one would be sitting next to him.
“I returned to my seat and informed the lady that there were no empty seats. However, she had already put the baby down and all his stuff out, including his snacks.
“She became mad at me. She didn’t want to move her baby, so I called a flight attendant and explained what was going on. The flight attendant informed her that she had to move her stuff since it was in her seat.
“I had to spend the whole flight with them giving me an attitude for the next five hours.”
Michelle received many messages of support online. Many people suggested that Michelle should have prepared more for her child and booked another seat.
One wrote: “You did more than enough! I don’t know why some people feel so entitled.”
Another thought: “Other people’s kids aren’t your problem. People need to realise that.”
Cabin crew members joined in on the fun and even added, “As a flight attendant I would have been SO loudly in shaming them.”
“It helps stop their huffing later. Like MAAM. YOU’RE TAKING HER SEAT, YOU HAVE TO MOVE!”
