A FLIGHT attendant shared many secrets about her job, including three things that cabin crew are prohibited from doing on planes.

Currently based in Turin, Italy, her jet-setting career has seen her go all over the world – but it’s not always blue skies while working on board a commercial airline.
Now she has revealed her top secrets. Some of her favorites are plane ticket discounts, hidden areas, and the things that stewardesses are good at “forbidden” to do – such as chew gum and speak loudly.
“[We’re not allowed] to receive tips, speak out loud between us, chew gum and run on the plane, as passengers will think that something is wrong,”Barbie shared her story with NeedToKnow Online.
“Speaking words like ’emergency,’ ‘fire,’ or bomb’ on a plane is prohibited, as many passengers might panic.
“That’s why special codes are used and it’s mandatory that you know them.
“It is also prohibited to listen to or watch movies.
“[My favourite]Secrets include special discounts for plane tickets. Sometimes, we pay only 10% of the ticket price.
“We offer priority check-in, and certain planes have a secret area where you can rest during flights.
“We sleep in five-star hotels with a king-size bed, room service and room service.
“It’s all paid by the airline you work for, as well as discounts in restaurants and hotels during your free time – just for being an air stewardess.”

Barbie said that airplane lights are not switched off so passengers can get a good nights sleep. They are there instead for an important reason.
She explained that cabin lights are off to allow passengers to adjust to the darkness during an evacuation or emergency.
“If you have to evacuate the plane during the night, you must prepare your eyes.
“Flight attendants and pilots should take breaks during long flights to rest and keep their secrets. [rest]Secret doors are hidden behind walls, ceilings or floors.
