While we all know that popping is a normal part of our bodily functions and it is healthy, it is often stigmatized at a young age.

Some people are now anxious about peeing in public places that aren’t home.

A doctor warned of the dangers associated with holding your poop in your mouth.

“The more fluid that is absorbed from the colon’s poo the more you avoid going to the toilet.

“This makes the poo dryer and harder so it sets like concrete,”He elaborated.

“The harder your poop is the more you need to strain which can cause hemorrhoids and the hard sharp stool can tear the tissue in the anus causing fissures.

What are hemorhoids?

Piles refers to swollen blood vessels that form lumps in your bottom. Hémorrhoids is the medical name for piles.

You might be suffering from piles if you experience any of these symptoms.

  • Lumps around your bottom when you go to the toilet
  • Pain where there is poo
  • Your bottom is leaking mucus
  • Feeling that you need to poo even though you are done?
  • Bleeding from your bottom just before or during pooing
  • Itching in your bottom

You should seek medical attention immediately if you develop a fever that causes you to have piles or pus from your bottom.

Experts at HealthlineThere are many things that you can do to decrease your anxiety over pooping.

  • Everyone poops. Imagine someone you respect, like a politician or actor, peeing.
  • To use public bathrooms, always have a small container of sanitizing spray and/or an air purifier on hand.
  • Towel the toilet bowl. This will absorb some of the sound.
  • While pooping, you should flush your bladder several times. This will reduce the sound and the smell.
  • If anxiety symptoms are threatening, you can take a deep breath or practice mindfulness meditation.

NORMAL FOR YOU

When it comes to going for a number two, plenty of people aren’t really sure what’s normal.

Depending on your diet, age, and activity, regularity can mean anything from three bowel movements a day to three each week.

Keeping an eye on what’s ‘normal’ for you though is crucial, as is being aware of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer.
