Netflix’s originals are often the top of the list. This is not always true. This is the case for January 3rd to February 9th. Mother/AndroidIt was the second most watched movie on Netflix. Not only is it not a Netflix original — it actually debuted on Hulu last month.
Mother/AndroidNetflix is streaming it now
Mother/AndroidMattson Tomlin directs this thriller-sci-fi movie. He also wrote the script for Netflix. Project PowerHe was also brought in to help with the scripting of Matt Reeves. The Batman. Mother/Android is Tomlin’s directorial debut, starring Chloë Grace Moretz as a soon-to-be mother and Algee Smith as her boyfriend. Raúl Castillo (Look!In addition to his prominent role as a scientist, he also helps the couple in the midst of an android rebellion.
Now, before you go looking for Mother/AndroidNetflix is not available everywhere. Hulu bought the US distribution rights last march. The movie was then released on Hulu’s service on December 17th 2021. You can watch the movie here. Mother/AndroidHulu is available in the US only if you have a subscription. Netflix has secured international streaming rights. Subscribers in most countries will be able to access the movie as of January 7, 2022.

Tomlin’s meteoric rise in the movie is exciting, but critics aren’t impressed. Mother/Android. Rotten Tomatoes currently rates the movie at 32%. At 26%, the audience score is even lower. RogerEbert.comIt was called “a bland mash-up of genre staples,”And The Wall Street JournalI didn’t like the movie. “generous helpings of violence, suffering and unhappiness.”
This clearly hasn’t deterred the large international audience who have discovered the movie on Netflix. The movie was watched by just 30 million subscribers last week. Netflix’s biggest movie had the largest audience: Do not look upWith 58,000,000 hours viewed.
