How to modify your plan to prevent the latest Netflix price rise

Netflix raised the prices of all of its plans in America earlier this month. It was the first price increase for American subscribers since October 2020. However, it was quite substantial. Prices rose by as much as two dollars per month, and as it stands, Netflix’s Standard plan is now more expensive than the HBO Max ad-free plan. You can cancel your current Netflix plan or switch to a different plan to avoid the increase in price.

The Basic plan which allows you to view on one screen at once in SD has increased from $8.99 – $9.99. The Standard plan allows you to watch on two screens simultaneously in HD and costs $13.99 to $15.49. The Premium plan allows you to watch on up to four screens simultaneously in 4K Ultra HD. It is now $17.99 and $19.99.

According to the company’s website, upgrades are available immediately in order for users to take advantage of all the benefits and features of the new plan. Your billing date for an upgrade will change depending on how much you have left to pay.

On the other hand, if you’ve decided to downgrade, your billing date stays the same, and the new price will be reflected the next time that Netflix charges you. You’ll still have access to all of the features of your old plan until the next billing date.

You can also cancel your plan at any time. Simply visit this page to sign in. Your account will be available until the next billing date. If you sign back up within 10 months, you’ll be able to restore all of your profiles, favorites, viewing preferences, and account details. Netflix even offers the option to cancel your subscription to persuade you to stay.

It is possible that Netflix is too expensive to justify. If that’s the case, you’re in luck, because there are an abundance of alternatives. You might consider looking elsewhere for a cheaper streaming service.

HBO Max charges $14.99/month for its ad free plan and $9.99/month for its paid-for plan. It is possible to save money by purchasing a year’s worth of either plan upfront. Apple TV Plus is $4.99 per year, Hulu is $5.99 per calendar month, and Disney Plus runs $6.99 per calendar month. These are just a few.
