Do you ever wish to sound like SpongeBob’s voice? Well, now you can with TikTok’s new voice filters. Here’s how to do it.
The social media platform introduced the amazing sound effects in October 2022 and they’ve taken over the app this month.
They’re not actually supposed to sound like specific people or characters, but people noticed one of them is exactly like the Nickelodeon character.
Everyone is calling it the SpongeBob Filter, and it sounds just like the famous yellow sponge who lives under the sea in an orange pineapple.

If you don’t have the Trickster effect, the filter sadly isn’t available in your region yet.
TikTok hasn’t explained why, but the voice filters seem to vary by location, and they’re not available at all in some countries.
UK users can use voices such as Suona, Cat Flute, Chipmunk and Baritone, while Americans have Granny and Explorer and Trickster.
It’s safe to say TikTok users are obsessed with the Trickster voice which sounds just like SpongeBob.
