I’m a doctor and this is the only way to really get over your hangover

He explained that consuming alcohol with diet soda makes you more drunk than if it were with regular pop.

This is because approximately 20% of alcohol is absorbed into the stomach.

“Around 80% of the small intestine absorbs this amount.

“So you can actually get drunk slower, by slowing the rate at which alcohol enters the small intestine and you can do this by having a meal with some fat,”He elaborated.

Dr Rajan claimed that this delay causes gastric emptying to be delayed.

He explained that this refers to the speed at which the stomach emptys its contents into small intestines.

“So the alcohol now mixed with the food, stays in the stomach for longer before entering the intestine and this reduces the rate at which alcohol is absorbed into the blood stream.”

He commented in the comments that drinking less is the best way to reduce your alcohol consumption.

An expert said previously that there are many reasons why some people don’t have a hangover.

Lara, founderLar: Wholistic HealthAlthough a hangover can be caused by being dehydrated, the overall picture is more complex.

Lara stated that our genes may be partly responsible for hangover severity and frequency.

The guru cited a 1972 study on 14,000 twins that found a 50 per cent correlation between how likely they were to drink, how severe the hangover was and other factors such as health, nutrition, medications and drug use.

“Another study on nearly 5,000 twins found a 40-45 per cent genetic influence over hangover frequency and hangover resistance,” she added.

She added that alcohol poisoning, diet, and other factors all play a role.

She explained that alcohol depletes vitamins, including vitamin A.

A good multi-vitamin is such asEvity multivitaminsB vitamins, as well as vitamin C, D, selenium and zinc, are all found in.

“Rich food sources of B-vitamins, anti-inflammatory antioxidants (and other nutrients!) can also be found in avocados and beans (red, black, pinto), so including these in your diet can support cognition and reduce post-binge blues.”

Lara said that Omega-3 is another important nutrient to reduce inflammation.
