Recently-accessed documents reveal the woman’s unborn baby girl was missing from her womb.

The post-mortem examination revealed that the baby was not surgically removed. This suggests that she was natural born.

An forensic analysis showed that the victim may have been pregnant at the time of the murder and the suspect may have fled with the baby.

Nelson Massini of Rio de Janeiro State University’s Department of Forensic Medicine said that it was possible, and the newborn child likely kidnapped.

Although the case is still under investigation, newly-released CCTV footage dating back to September 4, 2013 shows what appears to be her final moments.

It shows her walking with a man, before he grabbed her by the neck and pushes to a place where her body was found.

Now, police are trying to identify him.

According to local media information, Thaysa was divorced from the father she had two children.

The baby, who was due in October of last year, was the product of a relationship between Thaysa and a married man.

The victim’s mother, educational psychologist Jaqueline Campos, said at the time: “I want to make an appeal to the authorities: if this child is alive, I want my granddaughter back. I need my little granddaughter.”

The investigation continues.
