Halle Berry Says She Will Never Direct and Star In the Same Movie As Before ‘Bruised’

Movie “Bruised” marks Halle Berry’s first time ever directing a movie. She stars as a MMA fighter, who embarks on her final fight.

Berry is unlikely to direct another movie with her staring.

“I doubt I would act and direct again,”Berry shared his thoughts with Insider in response to a recent

chat. “Either one of those jobs, I realized through this experience, is largely enough.”

According to the Oscar-winner, she trained for two year to be like an MMA fighter. However, there was the challenge of being the director for the project, particularly since she had a vision for the story she wanted.

“So many people didn’t understand this world because it was only in my head, it wasn’t on the page,”Berry explained.

Berry plays Jackie Justice. After running out of a fight, she leaves the ring and now cleans Newark’s homes for rich people. Justice realizes that her son, whom she had given away as an infant, is back in her life and she decides to make changes to improve it.

Berry said she doesn’t want to have to do the same movie twice again and that it was hard work, but she does not regret the decision.

“Having done this now, I now know it’s possible. I can do it. I think as a woman we haven’t often thought we could do it,”She said. “I have many stories swirling around in my head right now that I would love to be able to tell.”
