Gianfranco Zola has tipped ENGLAND stars Mason Mount, Phil Foden for great things.
Chelsea legend Zola also praised Spain starlet Pedri as a bright future, while speaking to Marca.
Spanish sports newspaper asked the former 35-cap Italy hero what player he has. “surprised”His greatest achievements were in the last two-years.
Zola, 56: “There have been players who have become very powerful.
“I was impressed with Chelsea Mason Mount’s growth and his love for Phil Foden.
“And of the Spaniards, Pedri is one of them, apart from many others.”
Zola’s selections are not surprising considering they are a trio of 21-year-olds with 64 caps between them.
Mount, a 23-year-old Blues youth team product, made a name for his self on loan to Frank Lampard’s Derby side in Championship four years back.
He has been a regular player for the Three Lions since then and has scored five international goals. He may also play a key role in this winter’s World Cup.
Foden, a 22-year-old attack-minded England midfielder at Manchester City, could have said the same.
