GAYLE, ‘Abcdefu’ Singer, Heads to Israel for Noa Kirel Te Aviv Concert

GAYLE is the singer. “abcdefu” is among the most-consumed songs of 2022, will join Israeli pop star Noa Kirel onstage at her Aug. 24 concert at Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park.

Atlantic Records has signed both singers. It will mark Gayle’s first time in Israel.

Kirel is expected to perform on the stage that was previously occupied by Lady Gaga, Maroon 5 or Jennifer Lopez. OneRepublic and Justin Bieber are set to perform this fall at the outdoor venue.

This news follows the announcement that Kirel will represent Israel at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. (Ukraine won 2022, but was unable to host the 2023 edition due to its ongoing war with Russia).

Kirel spoke out about her Eurovision performance on Aug. 10. “I am moving forward with full faith. Like everywhere in the world I have performed — whether in IDF uniform or on the biggest stages in the world — I have always felt proud to represent my country.”

Kirel currently boasts three songs on Spotify’s Top 50 Israel chart, including her latest, “Panther.”

Gayle celebrated the one-year anniversary since the release of “abcdefu,”According to Luminate data, the U.S. has close to 500 millions on-demand streams. She’s currently on a tour of Europe with scheduled stops in Austria, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands before heading to Tel Aviv.
