Following William Petersen’s Exit, Another CSI: Vegas Star Will Not Be Back For Season 2

Fans CSI: Vegas were dealt another blow, as following William Petersen’s announcement that he wouldn’t be returning as Gil Grissom for Season 2, another star has announced her departure. Jorja Fox, who played Sara Sidle in Season 2, has announced her departure. CSIShe also announced her departure from spinoff.

Jorja Fox announced the news via Twitter on Friday. Twitter:

Hello #CSI Fans! After much consideration, I have decided not. ‘Sidle up’CSI Vegas. CSI is a love story for me. This is the story that even in the darkest times and places, people can still find love. It is the story that even in the darkest places and times, love can thrive and take root and last. I personally just can’t split Sara and Grissom up again. So goes Grissom…..So goes Sara. They belong together no matter where they go. Thank you !!!!! for your attention! Keep tuning in! I know I will. CSI VEGAS boasts an exceptional team, and it should be an unforgettable show!

This news comes just a month after William Petersen had announced that he would not be returning to the show. Petersen, who played Gil Grissom, a fan favorite, won’t be returning to Season 2. Petersen had only signed on to appear in the show’s first 10-episode season. This is a surprising news, especially since Grissom was a key character on Vegas. This change won’t mean the end of the actor’s relationship with the franchise, however, as he’ll reportedly remain on the show as an executive producer.
