Partner-in-crime Jason Castle, 28, also hid his face by covering it with two Covid masks — one with eyeholes cut into it.

The pair, who are notoriously shy, appeared together at Winchester crown courts with Michael Whittaker (52), Daniel Whittaker (34), and Shane Griggs (37).

The court heard that five of the men worked for various gardening businesses and had connections to the caravan site.

All five were admitted to depositing controlled waste.

Each was fined £1,200 and ordered to pay between £1,000 and £2,500 in costs.

Officials estimated the cost of clearing their mess in Downton, Wilts, was in the region of £42,000.
