Fahadh Faasil’s much-anticipated movie “Malik” is finally arriving on Amazon Prime Videos this July. “Malik” is a political drama thriller film directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The movie follows the rebellious journey of a young man against corruption and evils political activities.
Fahadh Faasil’s “Malik” Is Finally Coming On Amazon Prime
“Malik” was one of those much-awaited movies that fell into the traps of pandemics. It was scheduled for a theatrical release on May 13. However, the makers were compelled to postpone it due to covid. So, now after almost a month’s wait, they have decided to drop Fahadh Faasil’s “Malik” on Amazon Prime. The movie will premiere officially on Prime Videos on July 15, 2021.
The fan-favorite star, Fahadh also made an official announcement about “Malik’s” release on OTT through his social media post. “Malik” stars Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, Vinay Forrt, Joju George, and Jalaja in the leading roles.
In a recent interview, the movie director Narayanan explained their decision. He quoted that the premiere of “Malik” on the most popular Indian streaming platform, Amazon Prime Videos, will open the doors of opportunity to interact with a global audience. He further added that Malik carries the perfect blend of entertainment, and it sketches the picture of Indian ethos with its incredible characters and the emotions they carry.
The chief content head of Amazon Prime, India, Vijay Subramaniam, also showered his praises on Fahadh Faasil’s “Malik.” He highlighted that Amazon Prime’s honor to deliver such an intense story like “Malik” to the global audience. He also quoted that the success of the recent Malayalam launch DTS made them more confident that the audience is receiving Malayalam content well. So, they hope “Malik” will set new viewership records after its launch on July 15.
