Stars took to the red carpets in Los Angeles and London as the 73rd Emmy Awards got underway on Sunday night
The stars were out in their force once again on a night to celebrate the best of television.
Both London and Los Angeles have seen the biggest names in television, presenters and nominees, begin to gather on the red carpets for the 73rd Emmy Awards.
The stars looked stunning in a variety of looks, from simple and elegant to more extravagant.
The glamour in the UK was led by Emma Corrin, an English actress.
Gillian Anderson, Olivia Colman, and other stars from The Crown joined the 25-year old.
Emma, who plays Princess Diana on the hit series, wore a gorgeous yellow sleeveless gown and matched her look with gloves and a matching head cap.
The gloves showcased a prominent and sharp-looking black manicure.
Gillian, who plays Margaret Thatcher in the Emmys, showcased her toned abs by wearing a white crop top and matching maxi skirt. The actress’ long, flowing locks topped off this elegant ensemble.
The series and its stars were up for a slew of awards at this ceremony. Emma and Olivia, who play the Queen, will be competing for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Over in LA at LA LIVE, Pose star Billy Porter was among the first to arrive as he stepped out in an eye-catching black outfit.
The 51-year-old is known for his daring choices of attire. He wore an all-black suit with large ruffled sleeves and a diamond necklace.
Carl Clemons-Hopkins also turned heads stateside. The actor was dressed in an Aladdin-Esque ensemble and has been nominated to be Outstanding Supporting Artist in a Comedy Series.
The off-the-shoulders number had a white shirt, with a purple wrap. This was then draped to the ground with gold.
Others stars chose a more subtle approach and looked equally stunning.
Kaley Cuoco arrived in an amazing neon green gown, while Yara Shahidi also donned the more subtle look, albeit in bold and bright colors.
Seth Rogen wore brighter colors, as he wore a bright orange blazer with a bow tie.
The award for Outstanding Supporting Actress In a Comedy Series will be presented by Seth Rogen. He certainly doesn’t want to be outdone.
Mandy Moore chose a less eccentric color as she epitomized beauty in a stunning red gown.
Kate Winslet wore an elegant black gown with a low-cut chest. The black clutch bag and diamond bracelet perfectly matched the floaty gown that draped to the floor.
