Eastern Turkey Work Crew Discovers Skeleton of Mysterious Animals

Workers in eastern Turkey found the skeleton of an unknown animal’s skeleton when digging up the bones. It measures approximately three feet in length and features predatory teeth, extremely long hind legs, and nails rather than hooves.

A team of researchers from a nearby university contacted the crew to run tests on the mysterious bone. Some undegraded tissue remains on the bones, which may be useful for DNA analysis.

The region where the skeleton was discovered hasn’t had much use in the past 30 plus years, so there’s currently no record of how this got there.

Turkish news agency was informed by the head of excavation crew that he hopes science will benefit from what they discover.

According to the researcher who determined the species of the creature, the skeleton will be returned to a museum for a final resting place.
