EASTENDERS fans were moved to tears when Lola Pearce received some shocking news.
The BBC soap’s hairdresser, Danielle Harold, has had brain surgery in order to remove a cancerous growth.
Doctors were optimistic that they could remove most of the tumor and then treat lola using chemo- and radiotherapy to fix the rest.

However when she woke up in today’s episode, she was told everything was great and that she was going to be OK.
Jay Brown, Jay’s boyfriend, overheard doctors speaking and leapt to conclusions. He then told Lola that everything was wonderful before she checked again.
Sadly when the surgeon came to speak to Lola, it soon became apparent that Jay was wrong – making Lola’s pain all the worse.
He told her: “I told you before that the size and positioning of the tumour was likely to cause us problems during surgery and that turned out to be the case.
“We did manage to de-bulk the tumour but it was impossible to get it all. This tumour spreads quickly.
“We can try to slow the regrowth with additional treatments but I have to be clear – this isn’t curable.”
Lola instructed Billy as he struggled to understand: “He means I’m going to die Pops.”
She wept and the viewers joined her in joining in.
One wrote: “Oh gosh, that was such a heartbreaking scene, “While another was added: “We knew it was coming but it’s still devastating to hear. Poor Lola.”
Another said: “Crying every episode. Bloody hell, Lola.”
A fourth one said: “I’m in bits over Lola.”
