Episode 2, Title ‘Woe is the Loneliest Number’ Introduces Wednesday, Eugene and the moody protagonist who join his beekeeping team. A casual alliance is formed by Wednesday, who soon becomes obsessed with a strange monster that attacks the Nevermore pupils. Eugene then abandons Wednesday, leaving Eugene to explore a cave on his own. Eugene then suffers an unimaginable fate when he is left unconscious and attacked.
Does Eugene Die in Wednesday?
No, Eugene does not die.
However, Eugene is still subject to an unexpected fate. Episode 5, You Reap what You Woe shows Eugene in a coma. Wednesday wasn’t able to rescue him from the attack by the monsters. As Eugene wakes from his sleep, episode 8 shows him reunited with Wednesday.
Eugene offers vital information to Wednesday once she has been awakened. The help of her friends, Wednesday solves all the mysteries plaguing the school.
Eugene can be played by Moose Mostafa, a young British actor known for his previous role in Netflix’s The Last Bus.
