Cynthia Erivo will be starring in and producing a science-fiction movie for Netflix entitled “Blink Speed,”An individual who has knowledge about the project said.
Netflix acquired the rights to Eric Brown’s short story “Blink Speed”In an auction, and Brown“Queen Bitch and the High Horse”The screenplay is also written by ).
The film will feature Erivo as a woman gifted a rare savant skill after she experiences near death. Only to discover that this new ability may also unlock the truth behind her past.
Erivo will produce alongside Solome Williams for their production banner Edith’s Daughter, and Matt Jackson will also produce for Jackson Pictures. Jackson Pictures’ executive producer will be Joanne Lee.
Erivo is an Oscar short-of-an EGOT nominee and a two time Oscar nominee. She’ll next star in Disney’s “Pinocchio”Tom Hanks as the Blue Fairy. She’s currently filming the “Luther”Movie also available on Netflix, in which IdrisElba reprises his TV iconic role. She’s also starring in the anthology series “Roar”Apple TV+ will begin production in September “Wicked”Universal, Jon Chu and Ariana Grande as co-stars.
