Pfizer/BioNTech developed the vaccine and its official name is Comirnaty.

Coronavirus cases in Europe are on the rise and this approval of the jab has been granted.

New study reveals Europe could face a variety of problems “300,000 deaths and one million people in hospital”Covid, the evil one, is making havoc across the continent.

According to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, 280,000 people could be in Germany alone due to Covid lockdowns.

The UK has seen an increase in cases in school-aged children. Experts in the most affected areas of the country claim that the rise in cases can be attributed to both vaccine failure and kids.

The vaccine was administered to 1,305 children between 5 and 11 years of age who were free from any previous coronavirus infection.

The trial involved either a vaccine, or a placebo drug.

Three children from the 1,305 who were vaccinated developed Covid-19, while 16 children received placebo.

It means that 90.7 per cent of the vaccine is effective in preventing symptomatic Covid-19.

Experts suggested that the true rate at which prevention is effective could be as low or high as 67% and as high as 98%, respectively.

The most common side effect in children was found to be similar to that seen in the general public, according the study.

Side effects varied from mild to moderate. The most common were pain at the injection site, fatigue, headaches, redness and swelling, muscle pain, chills, and muscle pain.

They usually disappear within days.

The EMA’s Human Medicine Committee stated that the study demonstrated that the vaccine has many benefits.

They stated that this was especially true of children who were at high risk for severe Covid-19.
