Comedy has lost a rising star.
Teddy RayA comedian who appeared on the HBO series was.Sam Jay: Pauseand the Comedy Central show How to Be Broke, has died just two weeks after his 32nd birthday.
E! received confirmation from the Riverside County, Calif. coroner’s office. News that the performer’s real name isTheadore BrownShe died in Rancho Mirage on August 12th, at the age of 62.
A police spokesperson told theLos Angeles Timesthat that morning of Aug. 12, deputies responded to a call about a death at a home in the desert town. The spokesperson said, “The cause of death isn’t known.”The coroner’s Office said that the case is still being investigated.
E! News reached out to the police but has not received a response.
