Colombian entrepreneur, says she began creating outfits for feathered friends many years ago while living in Canada.
Some Canadians are known to cover their birds in winter because it can be so cold. Nidia made the ensembles again after she returned to Colombia to be with her family.
Her business, Creaciones Perlita, offers a range of avian couture as well as fashionable attire for dogs, cats, and rabbits.
Nidia claims that she only uses recycled materials from dressmakers and clothing manufacturers, which means there is very little environmental impact.
As expected, demand is high for Nidia’s creations.
