The new Hulu documentary “The Curse of Von Dutch: A Brand to Die For,”It is shocking to see the fashion industry, as Bobby Vaughn, Mike Cassel and Ed Boswell all claim that they created the trucker hats that took over the 2000s. They also revealed some of their most intimate secrets.

Chrissy Teigen was first to learn of the doc through a few Twitter fans who suggested that the star look at the story behind Von Dutch. “Watching now. Wowwww,” TeigenWrite. Former Sports Illustrated model, Lisa Van Dutch, admitted that Von Dutch was responsible for her modeling career’s launch. “Mike [Cassel] hired me for my Ed Hardy days like 15 years ago. I’m sad at his situation. He was always very cool to me.”Teigen, along with Von Dutch, became another favorite brand for celebs in 2000 with Ed HardyAddition, “yes Ed hardy lol it was coveted then I swear.”

Teigen said that her relationship to Cassel was more than just a good thing for her career. It also helped her find John Legend. Referring to PeopleIn 2020, the Grammy-winning singer shared the moment he realized Teigen was his one and only when he attended an Ed Hardy fashion show. “This was the year I proposed to you,”Legend says Teigen. “After seeing you in the Ed Hardy show, I was convinced you were the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
