China welcomes the New Year with Families by visiting the New Giant Panda Education Bas

There is no better way to kick off the new year than by consuming cuteness overload.

Children and panda enthusiasts flocked to the Giant Panda Education Base, southwest China, Saturday to welcome the new year with the cute animals.

The Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding has finally unveiled many areas after two years of preparation. People had their first look at the new scientific research park, the pilot zone, and the education and online experience zone.

They were also able to see many baby pandas.

The research base was established to address critical issues in panda breeding. Many baby pandas were born thanks to their efforts. The public was able to see the 43 pandas who moved into the new facility.

They also got to enjoy the museum’s new look, which includes glittering doors, red lanterns, and cartoon dolls of the pandas.
