Chicago Obama Center Construction Stopped After Noose Found On Site

According to reports, construction of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago was halted Thursday morning after a noose was discovered on the site.

People magazine was told by the Lakeside Alliance, a group of Black-owned construction firms and the organization that underwrote the project, that it is working with Chicago Police Department to find the person responsible. “act of hate.”

The Alliance is offering a $100,000 reward for any information leading to the identification of those responsible.
