CARDI B shared her thoughts with fans recently about the reasons she was hinting about Call of Duty. But, there was no collaboration.
The world famous rapper was seen wearing a diamond studded necklace featuring the Call of Duty operator, Ghost, in the video for her latest song Hot S**t.
Call of Duty’s official Twitter account shared photos of Cardi B with the necklace and a tweet: “Ghost so popping, don’t gotta be introduced.”
The video was released in July but Cardi B did not reveal any further information about Call of Duty.
It appears, however, that there was a multimillion-dollar collaboration, but it was cancelled due to a court appearance.
On Tuesday September 28, the superstar tweeted: “My stupid decisions from the past caused me to miss out on money now.
“I had a multi-million dollar Call of Duty deal on the table that I couldn’t take because of court.
“Guys think twice about those quick decisions! Lesson learned.”
Cardi B was required to appear in court on September 15th to plead guilty to two misdemeanors.
The first was third-degree attack, while the second was reckless danger.
By pleading guilty, she admitted to paying a friend $5000 (£4700) to beat up two sisters who work as bartenders.
The incident took place in 2018, after one of the sisters was allegedly involved with Cardi’s husband, Offset.
The rapper was given a plea deal and sentenced to 15 days community service. He also received a three year order of protection.
She cannot therefore be in touch with the women involved.
Although Activision Blizzard did cancel the collaboration, Cardi B was reportedly unable to attend the Call of Duty shoot because of her appearance in court.
She tweeted: “I couldn’t make it because of court a couple weeks ago.
“I wasn’t able to do the shoot on time.”
