Brassed Off & Ballykissangel Star Stephen Tompkinson At Assault Probe

British actor Stephen Tompkinson, most well-known for his roles in Ballykissangel DCI BanksThe defendant has been charged for grievous bodily harm (GBH). She will stand trial before an English crown judge.

Tompkinson was accused of inflicting injury on another man, beating him, and leaving him with a two-skull fracture in an altercation that occurred in May 2021. The Times reports. The actor appeared in North Tyneside magistrates’ court earlier this month where he denied the charge against him, and the case has now been referred to the higher crown court, where he will be represented by a barrister next month.
