The Quiz was posted to TikTok on February 12, 2012. @MathsPuzzlesThis video has been viewed thousands of times on YouTube by a very small audience.
It’s easy to understand the equations, but once the poster begins to add numbers that don’t compute, it becomes apparent that there is a pattern.
Numerous users responded to the comment section, with some correct and some incorrect answers.
It’s possible to figure it out.
It is possible to multiply the result by adding the numbers together.
The first line shows that the TikToker is 4 by adding 1 + 1, and multiplying 2 by 2.
To reveal the pattern, the TikToker will write in the first three lines.
Add 7 + 7 to the last line and multiply 14 by itself for the answer.
You could also solve the math puzzle by adding the sum of the numbers on either side of the equation.
Square is the mathematical term used to multiply a number by itself.
To get the same numbers, take the sum on the left side of equation and divide it by two: 22 = 4, 62= 36 and 10.2 = 100.
In the last line, 7 +7 = 14 and 142 = 196.
