Bob Saget Just Launched a New Standup Tour before Death that Shocked Friends and Fans

There are new details emerging about the last hours of “America’s dad”Bob Saget. After performing a standup comedy, the 65-year-old comedian and actor was found dead in his Florida hotel suite.

Saget had requested a Sunday 3 p.m. departure at the RitzCarlton Hotel in Orlando, but he didn’t show up. A housekeeper and security personnel went to Sagets room.

He was reportedly unconscious when they found him. His bags were packed and placed by the door. The room was clean and tidy. According to one member of staff, he tried desperately to perform CPR but was unsuccessful.

“It’s going to be for a male patient. Caller is advising it’s an obvious death, stating a security officer found the guest not breathing. No pulse,”A 911 dispatcher stated.

According to the local medical examiner there was no evidence of foul play or drug use. To determine the cause of death, an autopsy will be performed.

Saget recently had recovered from COVID-19. He spoke about it on a podcast last Wednesday. “It does not feel good. I had it. I don’t know if I had Delta or a combo. Maybe at one point they were working together,”Saget stated.

It might even attract more people to his shows, he joked.

“What the hell. When are we going to see Bob? You know, he might die from COVID. Let’s go see him,”Saget stated.

Bruce Hamilton, WJXT-TV Jacksonville’s morning show anchor conducted the interview from Los Angeles last week, shortly before Saget flew to Florida to start his standup tour.

Hamilton and Saget were college pals.

“He seemed fine. He was Bob. He was energized. He was ready to do the show,”Hamilton said.

Saget appeared at the top in his final interview.

“I really love doing standup now more than I ever have. I don’t talk politics, I don’t talk religion. I just want to make people laugh, you know?”Saget stated.

Aubrey, his daughter, sent him his last text before he performed Saturday night. “Thank U. Love U. Showtime!”He stated.

Saget posted his last Instagram photo on Sunday morning. “Loved tonight’s show. I had no idea I did a 2 hour set tonight. I’m happily addicted again to this.”

Saget’s friends and former co-stars have been speaking out about his sudden death.

“I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him,”John Stamos, actor, wrote on Twitter.

Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the TV show, was the TV dad for a whole generation of children growing up in the 1980s and 1990s. “Full House.”

On the Netflix series, he reprised the role. “Fuller House.”

His hosting duties and his role in the sitcom are both his. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” for eight years earned him a squeaky clean image, but his standup act was much edgier.
