Bigg Boss Kannada is back with more gossip, livestreamed events as well as hilarious gameshows.
However, the new season will be notably different to the main series, being an exclusive project for Viacom 18’s Voot streaming platform and available 24/7 online.
Last night, the 16 main contestants from Bigg Boss Kannada OTT season 1 entered the infamous glasshouse – but who are they and what is the link with the upcoming season 9 series?

As the 42-day-long competition progresses, viewers can stay up-to-date on all the Bigg Boss happenings.
Each day, a special highlight episode from that day’s events is broadcast on the Voot channel at 7 PM IST.
Sudeep will then appear for special episodes on weekends where we can see interaction with contestants.
Season 9 Entry: House location and prize pool
Contestants will be awarded Rs 25 Lakh and an OTT Edition trophy for winning the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT Season 1 Show.
Top contestants will however be promoted. EnterIn Bigg Boss Kannada season 9, set to debut in October 2022.
The house where the new season will take place is in Innovative Film City, Bengaluru – the same facility from the original series.
The house has a living room/lounge, one large bedroom, kitchen, garden, bathroom, store room, smoking room, a special underground jail that is used for punishments – and of course, the confession room.
