The two anchors, Mike Amor and Rebecca Maddern of Australia’s Seven Network, were discussing Djokovic, the Serbian athlete who is ranked top in tennis in the world, and the drama surrounding his participation in the Australian Open. Last week, he was arrested in Australia over a dispute regarding his vaccination and visa status. In November, he received a temporary visa so that he could participate in the Open. This he won nine times. After some dispute over the documents, the Australian Border Force started investigating whether he had submitted a false travel statement before he arrived in Australia.
“Whatever way you look at it, Novak Djokovic is a lying, sneaky asshole. Like, whatever way you look at it. It’s unfortunate that everybody else stuffed up around him,”Maddern.
Amor agreed that the star is “an asshole”Who “fell over his own f—ing lies.”
They both lambasted officials, but he agreed to end the situation. “get away with it.”
