Apple In Conversations With Joseph Kosinski About Brad Pitt’s Racing Movie

Apple Studios has reached an agreement to acquire a Formula One racing movie featuring Brad Pitt. “Top Gun: Maverick”Joseph Kosinski director, an individual with knowledge about the project, told Tuesday

Untitled film was shopped around the city as a pitch pack. Pitt will appear as a retired driver who is stepping out of retirement in order to coach a young driver and win his last chance at glory.

Ehren Kruger was also the author “Top Gun: Maverick,” is writing the script for the racing film, and Jerry Bruckheimer is producing alongside Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.

Years before Pitt was able to make a movie about racing, Kosinski had called. “Go Like Hell” in which Pitt would’ve portrayed legendary Cobra designer Carroll Shelby, only for a portion of that film and Shelby’s story to eventually become “Ford V. Ferrari”Starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale

Pitt stars alongside George Clooney in another Apple project. It is not yet titled, but will be directed jointly by “Spider-Man: No Way Home”Jon Watts, director. The film tells the story of two fixers, one lone-wolf and the other assigned to the same job.
