To say that André Leon Talley revolutionized the fashion industry would be an understatement. His fashion choices included bold prints, flowing robes and kaftans. He was a pioneer in setting trends and never hesitated to challenge the norm. Women’s Wear DailyTalley, who has worked in fashion for over 30 years, noted that he helped to address many issues within the industry, such as ageism and racism.
