Amazing footage from Nasa shows the ‘Ring of Fire” eclipse, captured from space

NASA has shown the Moon’s appearance during a solar eclipse using a new fiery angle.

New footage shows an incredible ring of fire when our neighbor passes in front the Sun.

Billions saw a partial solar eclipse last Wednesday, with coverage ranging from 15% to 85% depending on where they were.

If you have missed the eclipse, don’t worry. Nasa has taken a different view from space.

To capture this moment, the international satellite Hinode used its Xray Telescope.

It recorded three passages of the Moon collapsing with the Sun on Oct 25, 25.

As the Sun’s bright, burning surface struggles to stay visible, the moment created a ring around the edges.

Hinode is actually there in order to study the Sun’s magnetic fields, and learn more about the driving forces behind solar eruptions.

It was launched into orbit in September 2006.

This mission is a joint venture led by the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency with support from the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAO), the European Space Agency (ESA), UK Space Agency, and Nasa.

The last partial solar eclipse could be seen from Europe, the Middle East and parts of Asia.

According toTimeanddate.com, the next total solar eclipse will happen on 20 April, 2023.

But this will only be visible from South/East Asia, Australia, the Pacific, Indian Ocean and Antarctica.

The UK will be waiting for the next total eclipse, which is not due until September 23, 2090.

However, a partial view will be visible from most European countries in October 2023.
