Alison Hammond of THIS Morning announced today that she would be taking a significant break from the show.
Star, who stars Fridays with Dermot O’Leary on Fridays, has announced that she will not be present for seven weeks.

She is enjoying a massive summer vacation, as do many other presenters.
Before This Morning, she announced the following: “Hello there. We are going live today at 10am.”
“It is my last day before my holiday – I’m gone for seven weeks.
“I’m going to miss you guys but yeah it’s our last show, come and join us, it’s Friday.”
Monday’s stand-ins begin with Alison and Josie Gibson, Alison’s Big Brother, hosting Craig Doyle.
This Morning’s hosts Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and Dermot were replaced by Alison and Dermot.
The pair replaced Ruth Lansford, Eamonn Holmes and Eamonn Holmes as Friday hosts.
