Pub goers looking to revel in an Oasis tribute band have been stuck in a pub due to a blizzard for four days, The New York Times reported.
Pubgoers in Yorkshire, England went to see Noasis tribute band Oasis on Friday. However, as of Monday, they were still inside the drinking hole because of a blizzard, according to the Times.
Since Friday night, sixty-one people, including employees and pubgoers, have been stuck inside The Tan Hill Inn as the conditions have not improved. New York Post reported.
According to the Post, some people managed to escape in off-road vehicles. Also, a mountain rescue team was able to pull a few people out the pub for medical or family reasons.
According to the Times, there are rooms at the Inn, but many people have reserved them. However, others have been sleeping on the floors and couches.
Nicola Townsend, Tan Hill Inn’s general manager, stated to the Times that the patrons had been “respectful of each other”And have not gotten “loud and drunk”During this strange time.
Townsend stated that the guests aren’t looking back in anger and are in fact enjoying themselves. “in really good spirits.”
“They’ve formed quite a friendship … like a big family is the best way I can describe it,”She said. “One lady actually said ‘I don’t want to leave.’”
