One of the most incredible things I’ve seen on Netflix all year, believe it or not, is Jibaro, a short that’s part of the critically acclaimed Netflix animated series Robots and Love. Yes, I can also point out more impressive Netflix releases like the last episodes of Ozark. Or, perhaps, a jaw-dropping documentary like The Tinder Swindler. JibaroHowever, it was an exceptional film with hyper-realistic animations that absolutely floored me. A gritty storyline and intense emotions, made even more compelling by the fact that not one word was spoken throughout.
It was a reminder to streamers that they are home not just to prestige dramas but also to content that is outside the purview of critics. These include reality series and animated Netflix series.
He-Man, the Masters of the UniverseSeason 3
Netflix and Mattel Television have teamed up to create, He-Man, the Masters of the UniverseCG animated series that completely reimagines The Animated Series Masters of the UniverseThe classic tale. It features all-new storylines, as well as a new take on iconic characters.
Netflix’s logline for Season 3 of the series, which is out today:
A lost prince finds the power of Grayskull on the planet Eternia and transforms into the He-Man. As both villain and hero forge new, mighty teams, the battle between He-Man & Skeletor continues.

TekkenNetflix animated series
Another Netflix animated series we want to highlight (that’s also out today) is Tekken: BloodlineBased on the video game of the same title,
This animated title was actually the first one to be taken from the Tekken The world’s longest-running videogame storyline holds the title of the longest-running series. Jin Kazama, however, is the main character in this story. He’s one of the main characters in the TekkenFrom the Mishima family:
Netflix reports that Jin Kazama was taught by his mother the Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts family self-defense art, at a young age. But he was powerless to stop a monstrous evil from destroying everything he loved. His life was forever altered.
