15 Things You Didn’t Know About Netflix’s “Cowboy Bebop” Reboot

The “Cowboy Bebop”Insider heard from the costume designer that she was inspired to create some of the costumes by David Bowie, Bebop jazz and Bebop.

Speaking to Insider “Cowboy Bebop’s”The costume designer explained that the costumes used in the reboot were inspired by bebop jazz music’s improvisations.

Faye, for example, has fastenings which had been a “tiny little labyrinth”It is engraved with Faye’s amnesia.

“And then, down the back of her leggings, there’s this abstract print. It’s the top view of block letters of ‘Babes in Arms,’ which is the name of the musical that the song My Funny Valentine comes from. And Faye Valentine’s episode, when she’s cryogenically frozen, [is called] My Funny Valentine,”Holland was added.

Holland stated that Gren, played by Mason Alexander Park, was more flexible because she was reimagining the character.

“The ballet was a bit of an influence which came from Mason,”She spoke to Insider. “There’s the motif of the butterfly on the trophy buckle and jewelry, which is sort of about transformation and freedom.”

Gren also wore one of Grens costumes “they/them”Park has a tattoo that contains those words. Holland claims the code is a reference to David Bowie’s final album, which also had code.
