Amy Adams cemented her name in Hollywood after playing the iconic role of Princess Giselle in the 2007 musical-drama movie, “Enchanted.” She starred in the film alongside actors Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel, and James Marsden.

Fourteen years later, the critically-acclaimed movie gets a sequel titled “Disenchanted.” The 47-year-old actress recently opened up to TV host Jimmy Fallon about her experience during filming.

In an interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Adams said fans could expect more singing and dancing in the new film. She also shared that dancing in her 40s felt different, saying:

“In my heart, I look like I’m in my 20s when I’m dancing, and then I would watch playback and be like, ‘Whoa, that’s not the same.'”

Besides dancing, Adams stated that the original cast would reprise their characters. Maya Rudolph will play the role of a villain, according to Adams.

Development of the “Enchanted” sequel began in 2010. Recently, filmmaker and producer Adam Shankman announced that they have wrapped up their shooting in Ireland.

Dempsey previously stated in an interview that he would be showing off his singing talents in the movie. In 2022, the film is set to premiere.

The “Arrival” actress expressed her admiration for stage acting and musicals, noting that she is looking forward to the challenge. The next production will be open in May 2013.

Interestingly, Adams also previously worked as a waitress and a greeter in The Gap. Since 2015, Adams has been happily married her actor husband, Darren Le Gallo.
