Week Four NFL Recap

The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears, 35-14. Aaron Rodgers completed 18-of-26 passes for 179 yards and four touchdowns. Jordy Nelson caught four balls for 75 yards and two touchdowns. The Packers lost Ty Montgomery to a rib injury, in addition to DaVantae Adams who took a hit to the helmet. However, Green Bay managed to control the flow of the game.

The New Orleans Saints shut out the Miami Dolphins, 20-0. Drew Brees completed 29-of-41 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns. Michael Thomas caught eight balls for 89 yards and a touchdown. Alvin Kamara caught 10 balls for 71 yards and a touchdown. Kamara also rushed five times for 25 yards.

The Buffalo Bills beat the Atlanta Falcons, 23-17. Tyrod Taylor completed 12-of-20 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown. Charles Clay caught five passes for 112 yards. The Bills defense forced two interceptions to beat the NFC champions in Atlanta.

The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Cleveland Browns, 31-7. Andy Dalton completed 25-of-30 passes for 286 yards and four touchdowns. Tyler Kroft caught six passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns. A.J. Green also caught five balls for 63 yards and a touchdown.

The Los Angeles Rams beat the Dallas Cowboys, 35-30. Jared Goff completed 21-of-36 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns. Todd Gurley caught seven of those passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed the ball 23 times for 121 yards. Dallas owned the first half, but were completely outplayed in the second.

The Carolina Panthers beat the New England Patriots, 33-30. Cam Newton completed 22-of-29 passes for 316 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Newton also ran eight times for 44 yards, adding a touchdown. Devin Funchess caught seven passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns. The Panthers made a field goal as time expired to avoid overtime and win the game.

The New York Jets beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, 23-20 in overtime. Josh McCown completed 22-of-31 passes for 224 yards and one interception. Bilal Powell rushed the ball 21 times for 163 yards and a touchdown. Elijah McGuire also rushed the ball 10 times for 93 yards and a touchdown.

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens, 26-9. Ben Roethlisberger completed 18-of-30 passes for 216 yards, a touchdown and an interception. LeVeon Bell rushed the ball 35 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns. Joe Flacco struggled for a second straight week. He threw a pair of interceptions and just one touchdown.

The Houston Texans beat the Tennessee Titans, 57-14. DeShawn Watson completed 25-of-34 passes for 283 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. DeAndre Hopkins caught 10 balls for 107 yards and one touchdown. Will Fuller V caught five passes for 35 yards and two touchdowns. This was the first game played in Houston since Hurricane Harvey.

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the San Diego Chargers, 26-24. Carson Wentz completed 17-of-31 passes for 242 yards and one touchdown. LeGarrette Blount rushed the ball 16 times for 136 yards.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the New York Giants, 25-23. Jameis Winston completed 22-of-38 passes for 332 yards and three touchdowns. Mike Evans caught five passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. Tampa Bay managed to score a game-winning field goal.

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Indianapolis Colts, 46-18. Russell Wilson completed 21-of-26 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed four times for 38 yards and a touchdown. Rookie running back J.D. McKissic, rushed the ball four times for 38 yards a touchdown, also catching a 27-yard touchdown pass.
